IMAGINE IF THE INFINITE ALONE EXISTS AS SPIRIT
(AWARENESS)
Imagine if The Infinite alone exists as spirit:
The Infinite would be immaterial, because there is no material (substance) in spirit
The Infinite would be non-spatial, because there is no space in spirit (its not a certain size nor exists in any place)
The world could not exist, since it cannot be created without material (to build it) and space (in which to place it)
The Infinite would never change, because there would be no substance in which to change (as in milk to curd)
The Infinite would never move (do anything), because there would be no space in which to move (or do anything)
Just as a movie to be experienced (seen) must be projected upon something that remains still, which is the movie screen
Life to be experienced (lived) must be projected upon something that remains still, which is spirit (The Infinite)
For an experience to exist, there must be division between experiencer (subject) and the experienced (object)
But since spirit (The Infinite) is indivisible, spirit simply imagines division (variety) within itself for the sake of experiences
And just as a movie screen is unaffected (unchanged) by any movie projected upon it
Spirit (The Infinite) is unaffected (unchanged) by any life imagined (projected) within itself
Imagine if The Infinite alone exists as spirit, then one's own spirit (Self) must be The Infinite (spirit) since nothing else exists
People talk about the spirit of The Infinite or their own spirit, but rarely realize both are one and the same
Hence searching all over the world for The Infinite is like searching the world for one's own face
It’s impossible to find (experience) what you already are since there's no division of seeker (subject) and sought (object)
Hence when your own spirit is The Infinite, its impossible to ‘find’ The Infinite (since seeker and sought are one)
The Infinite cannot be experienced by the senses and mind, since The Infinite (spirit) is subtler than the senses and mind
Due to absence of separation, just as sugar cannot taste sugar (because it is sugar itself), The Infinite (spirit) cannot experience itself
So ironically, it is the very seeking to ‘experience The Infinite’ that prevents the simple ‘realization (awareness) of The Infinite’
Hence one needs only to ‘be still' to realize (become aware of) the spirit within one’s heart (which is The Infinite)
Again, since spirit (The Infinite) alone exists and all experiences can only be a dream (imagined) within spirit
All reflections of The Infinite (Jesus, Buddha, etc), religions, myths, visions can only be a dream (imagined) within spirit
Ironically, only those who realize all of this is imagined for play, truly play.
The rest continue swinging between pleasure and pain
So from the absolute viewpoint, life is simply the self-experiencing and self-expression (dreams) of spirit to itself within itself
Hence in absolute truth, since The Infinite alone exists as spirit:
Simply ‘be still’ to realize the spirit (the awareness 'I am') within one’s heart as The Infinite (the Self)
And remain aware that one’s spirit never moves nor is ever changed by any experiences imagined for play
Leaving nothing more to do than to 'choose a fulfilling role' in the world 'imagined for play'
