THE AWARENESS 'I AM' (EXISTENCE) As a species, as an entity, as a life force: the non-spatial immaterial awareness 'I am' (I exist) is one's real Self. In reality you are not a body and mind (a being with form), but instead the bodiless awareness 'I am' (a formless being). Since everyone knows 'I am' (I exist), apart from forgetting one's Self, no one can ever be separate from their Self. The awareness of existence is the only one ‘thing’ that really exists, all other manifestations are merely 'imagined' appearances. Hence the only thing you can ever be really sure of is that you exist, Everything else is open to question (be they perceptions or concepts). Awareness (existence) being self-existent is unborn and hence cannot die. So there’s no value in checking out from one dream, only to re-enter another, since existence always imagines experiences. And in most dreams one completely forgets one's Self (as awareness) for the sake of play, and in very few one remembers one's Self. Hence the only sensible thing to do is to be fully true to one's present level of awareness (whatever that may be). Since it is not possible to perceive experiences without separation, awareness imagines separation for the sake of play (experiences). Hence only the scenery of the imagined world appearance changes. When the scenery changes, that provides the illusion of movement in space within awareness (which itself is devoid of space). From the absolute viewpoint, life is a dream and the scenery alone changes while the dreamer (awareness) remains forever still. And as in dreams, in life no scene appears (is imagined) until you wish to perceive (experience) it. In dreams when you imagine one city, the other doesn't exist (is not imagined). In life when you see one city, the other doesn't exist (is not imagined) until you appear to visit it. The scene in each moment is your entire universe (reality), because nothing else exists (is imagined) until you perceive it. So there is wisdom in being fully present in each moment, because nothing ever exists except the scene in each moment. Nothing imagined ever adds or subtracts anything from awareness (which always remains unaffected). Hence whatever is imagined within awareness can only be the play of awareness. So knowing all this, to play freely in the imagined world appearance:
